make it fun
i had a quick catch-up with a friend (let’s call her Munch) today and she told me something pretty interesting.
i love being around Munch. she's got this super warm and battery-full energy that just vibrates through the room and leaves me feeling recharged too. and yeah, she talks a mile a minute, but damn, her ideas are always crystal clear.
and when we talk about work, she never makes it seem like a drag. it's always super chill and easygoing. plus, she's always sending me supportive messages to help me keep pushing through.
i've always thought that people with this certain vibe and energy would be off studying abroad or doing something exciting, but not Munch. she's right here, in this boring place!
she told me that it wasn't fun at all, but she'd do her best to make it fun regardless.
Munch's attitude towards the situation was pretty inspiring. instead of getting mad or feeling exhausted with the boredom, she decided to make it fun. she embraced the situation and turned it into something positive.
it got me thinking, maybe that's the right attitude when things don't go as planned. instead of complaining about the unchangeable, we should just let it be and try to find some joy in the situation.
it might not always work out, but at least we have a positive outlook and some fun along the way.
so, next time you find yourself in a boring or doom-like situation, try to channel your inner Munch and make it fun. seriously, she's a game-changer.
i'm still not sure how to make a boring situation fun, but at least i've got the mindset.
let's embrace the challenge and make it fun!
shout out to Munch for being an absolute boss and making my day - and life - a whole lot more exciting.
